Just -305 days until Election Day 2009

Mayor Mike Jarjura tests new voting machine Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2009. We encourage all eligible voters to exercise their right as American citizens to participate in the process of selecting your elected officials.

After decades of use, the familiar lever-style mechanical voting machines have been retired and replaced by new electronic voting machines for increased accuracy and security. These new machines have been tested extensively and will enable a more timely and accurate tabulation of votes, retaining paper ballots in a secure storage in the event that a recount is necessary. In the image at right, Waterbury Mayor Mike Jarjura is seen testing one of the new voting machines in 2006.

The following are voting districts for the City of Waterbury, as well as their respective polling locations with their address.
